Talking about appropriation, I'm a person with a mental health disability. Those with mental illness have a significant community with traditions and common understandings and experiences. It is an invisible subculture in the world today. The number of authors who appropriate the mental health disability experience is extraordinary and the damaging and stigmatizing way in which they do so is remarkable. Meanwhile, if you are a person with a mental health disability who writes in an informed way of what that experience is, you are far less likely to be published, particularly if you claim the identity. The abuse of appropriation inflicted upon the mentally ill community, the exploitation of that community to terrorize, frighten, mainstream culture who are unaware of the distortions is rampant. Let's talk about that.

Any woman who shows how she is fighting to succeed is definitely a bitch. To succeed and be liked, you have to pretend you aren't fighting for it like a guy. Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in HIDUPZ . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.

This LYXBAG tote is beautifully colored, very sturdy and the perfect size. Not too small, not too big.

So do you have to join while you’re in grad school, because I’m done. Does that mean we can’t join since we’ve already graduated?

I just finished this book (I'm mad late 😅) but i thought it was well done tbh. It was TCWE all over again but the imagery and lessons are different. The animal parts were uncomfortable but i believe they were meant to be. I absolutely didn't care for the heavy Islamic push (nothing against anyone) and the Christian bashing but she's always been on that so i just read thru it. There was a lot of description she could have subbed out but I'll say I'm in the minority of ppl that liked this one. I read TCWE in high school in the early 2000s like a lot of you, still have my copy. That book was iconic but i hated winter's character. She was so smart and so stupid at the same time. The way this ended, she was just starting to get it. IDK that's just me!

I read the Coldest Winter Ever at 17 I was 33 when this book was released, I loved the progression of the character. It was very unexpected however I truly and thoroughly enjoyed it.
